How long did it take your car to stop smoking when you replaced the turbo?
As above, took it on maybe a 10 mile journey and its gettin better, quite funny stopping at traffic lights tho, some funny looks
seems to be down to just when u slow down now....
It doesnt feel as fast as the old bleed valve fell out i have replaced it with a new one which is turned down as low as it will go but still says im running a TINY bit more boost?
but doesnt seem to boost as well....
Any ideas on that? i have removed the dump valve and removed the boost gauge pipe and put it into the efi head as some one had plugged it into the actuator/wastegate pipe via a 3 way bleed valve
so now i just have a 2 way bleed valve

The lad who used to live next door to me moaned his bollocks off for ages about this when he had a RST.As said it will be in the exhaust for deffo. When I changed mine took the cooler and inlet off and cleaned them out with petrol. They were as black as fook and it still took a while before the oil had burned away.
If your turbo had blown, it could have filled the induction system up with oil and also the exhaust. Just needs to get warm and burn it all off. You may find some oil still sat in the bottom of the intercooler though.
