Default 3dr air leak

if there is an air leak somewhere in the system (its causing the revs to come down too slowly when coming off the throttle), then how do i go about finding it?

yes

also soapy water is good as it bubbles up if something is blowing

rev it up and keep your eyes peeled for something sucking or blowing

plenum to plenum cover gasket is a favourite so particular attention there

get your engine started and get a can of WD40 and spray it along the inlet manifold if the engine revs increase then you have a leak from the manifold gasket

ps DONT use anything else as they COULD catch fire from the dissy

Personally I use an unlit blowtorch as the revs rise when the gas goes near the hole, it's clean and very quick to find the leak. Never had any problems myself but it could be dangerous.. Just make sure you keep the gas down and it should be ok!

It sounds like i should give it a miss m8 i might try replacing the iscv, the thing is i've already replaced it so unless i got unlucky and bought another dud one then it shoudn't be that. When its warm if you unplug it the car runs ok
