Default Difference between mk4 and mk6 zetec engines

Does any body know the difference between the mk4 zetec engine and the mk6 zetec engine. The reason i ask is the engine in my mk4 has died and i have a 1.4 from the mk6 laying in the corner of my garden, i know the throttle body is different but i wondered if it is possible to use the inlet on the mk4 on the mk6 engine as this would stop me having to fork out for a new lump so close to xmas

cheers

You will need to change everything over, not an easy conversion by any means.

When you say every thing what do you mean? are we talking manifolds and ancilleries? or more than that? i am assuming the gearbox from my mk4 would fit the mk6 engine as the block is the same?
