They will fit both
The comp housing will need loosening and spinning round to the correct angle and the oil return pipe is different on 4x4 to 2wd so will need changing

the 4x4 turbo has a machined cover and larger 60 trim compressor wheel so no not the same as 2wd, really its the one to have unlesss going t34 etc. But as spadge said each will need orientation changing to fit other, make sure once fitted the oil feed is directly above return or you may hit problems

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 2wd turbos have clearance holes for the manifold studs, and the 4x4 turbos have studs that pass through holes in the manifold (or is it the other way round?) - so unless you're prepared to mess about with drilling out holes/studs and using nuts and bolts, they're not easily interchangeable.

very true !!

the 2wd does have a set of 4 studs in the exh house flange , these will need to be removed and the holes drilled out to make it fit the 4wd manifold !!
