Drivers side fan on my 92 saphire cosworth wont stop. According to the handbook it should be auxillary fuse 33 but I cant find the auxillary fuse box to stop the fan. Where should I be looking and does anyone know what will be causing the problem. Any help will be much appreciated as the car is in garage with the battery disconnected.

 

the fuse is in the normal fusebox somewhere there, as is the relay. but only one fan running suggests another problem, like a short circuit in the earth side (as i believe that the temp switch switches the relay to switch the earth side).

do both fans run when hot? if so, they are switching properly and it must be a problem with the wiring to just one fan.

 

had the same problem . 4x4 with ac , a fuse blown . fan on olways . Ford use pc , stating sirqith with problem . Sorry Norweigian
