my rs1800 fiesta has gaz coilovers and recently they have started to make a knocking noise from the beam to coilovers bottom mount. i have replaced the bolt with genuine ford ones but the noise hasn't gone. anyone else had this problem. there is play in the joint as well.

 

best bet would be to take out the suspension, put the bolt through the hub tighten and refit the suspension making it a tight fit or simply check the bushes and ball joints on the side you can hear the knocking from?
