Well after splitting my escos and buying a car with a load of mods done , with the plan that i wouldnt spend any more on it
I had to replace one of the 3 front rads last month due to leaves building up in the corner and rotting the core , so after changing the rad i meshed the bumper to save it happening again.

I then decided to change the rear tyres to wider 315's

After this i reset the rie height and changed the coilover springs to a softer set as it was too firm an skippy at the back. After taking the car for 4wheel alignment I foundout we couldnt dial out enough rear camber on the standard adjuster .So got these adjustable top arms for the rear hub

Also while i was online ordering the camber adjusters i seen this induction kit

Chip the 4 arms with teflon rosejoints were Ł200
The car already had the gt2 front and rear, luckily as the bumper with ducts comes in at around Ł3000

have you got more pics of the car? i think i prefer the standard wheels over the ones you have (BBS LM maybe?)

Mike i have never been in either of those cars so couldnt realy say.
My car has GT2 turbos, gt2coolers ,Miltek exhaust, manifolds and now the agency power intake running 1.3 bar so should be around the same if not a little quicker than a standard gt2 due to the weight difference.

Ive never had it on a set of rollers as i dont want to end up chasing a power figure like i did with my escort, i would think it would be somewhere between 500-550.

Love it Neil. Saw the review for the 2010 Porsche 911 turbo other day. They just get better

The new one does look like another level as far as performance goes.
I just need to nip along to Mcgill Motorsports to get boots for the rosejoints before i fit the arms , then its booked back in for alignment again on Monday.

Well a few more upgrades will soon be winging there way over from America, just bought some uprated intercoolers and upgraded inlet pipework. The standard pipework twists as it comes down the back/side of the engine and narrows to 1" at points the new alloy hard pipe stays 2.5" all the way. The parts are being removed from a car that was making over 700 bhp at the wheels so know they flow well

WOW i love these, how good are the Hi specs compared to the standard porsche ones?? AWESOME car mate something i would love to own
i wonder if borsche brakes would fit on an 300hp+esrst

The hi-specs were fitted to the car when i bought it so never drove it with the standard stuff, but i like them atleast asgood as the AP's or Brembos i had on the escos.
The Porsche Brembos would be fairly easy to make mounts for to fit an rst, see the forsale section

My plan is to hopefully fit these parts justnow to free up the breathing then upgrade the turbos either later this year or next year once things steady out at work.
One of the guys on pistonheads with a GT2 has just done the same turbo upgrade as i plan on but without the coolers or pipework , and has just recorded some times.
0-60 3.6s with wheelspin
60-100 3.0s
60-130 7.1s

Lee are you keeping your one now or still thinking of getting rid ?
I was going to phone wayne at Pro but these coolers came up for a good price with Bell cores and they were fitted and worked well on a tracked car.
Dout i will see much gains with these mods , mibi a bit of an improvement in spool up and low down torque but they will help alot later.

Time for an update
Bumper and coolers off and engine dropped

Housings and frame work modded and fitted to new cooler

Bumper back inplace to check for fit

A couple of pics to show the freeer flowing ends to the coolers

I then had to cut the old intake pipework to remove it, and replace it with the free flowing alloy pipework.

I got the flooring off of ebay and it cost about Ł400 to do my garage that is about 1 1/2 standard size.
A quick pic to compare the flow of the standard pipework to the new pipes

After an hour and a half I also got the passenger side cast pipe cut and the new pipework fitted

And the weapon of choice for getting it off...

I never want to do that again

Hi Andy yip its a good bit quicker than the escort was and the power just comes in so low down and does not drop off. To be honest my old car needed better mapping to get the best out of it , as off boost it was not good to drive and it was laggy as hell , which got blamed on the cams speced and fitted to the engine when it was built...
