yup - where you traveling from? if its a loooooooooong distance, buy your ticket from the conductor on the train you get on from your home station - he or she will treat you like a god if the fare is a good price as conductors are on comission

- if its over 60 quid return, then the conductor will be "yes sir no sir 3 bags full sir"

on the other hand, if you get the ticket from a booking office, the conductor will curse you and grumble
