sapphire rear springs
i own a sapphire cosworth can anyone hellp me in what springs to use to stop the rear end from dragging its ars on the road when i have more than two people in it and when i put my foot down. all i seem to do is scrape my exhaust.
At the the min its running 340 BHP and has konis on and is lowered 25mm but do not no what springs it has got on or were to set the konis to on the abjuster i would perfer not to go the coil overs way

my Saff has 25m lowered PI springs on it and Konis adjustable shocks set in the middle setting all round and doesn't scrap at all it's NORNALLY 5 up most of the time as well, I MUST admit it did take me 3 different types of makers of springs ie Spax and Eibach were too low @ 25m to get where I am now,and have been on the car now for 8 years and still going strong

Agree with you, Swerv - had Eibach -20mm lowering springs on the back of my Saff - it really was too low, swapped for a new set of Chassis Dynamics -25mm - ride height now is far better - helps to get rid of excess neg.camber too. Off the car the older springs were even physically taller, just shows how much they can sag/get weak with age.
