Hello PF..

Lately I have thinked about getting a fiesta mk4 (~1997-) as they are relatively cheap here in denmark.. I would like to build a fun daily driver/maybe trackcar..

But how much work is there to be done to transplant a 1,25 16V engine to a 2.0 16V zetec from the focus/mondeo? Gearbox should fit straight on with transaxles right?

u will need rs1800 fiesta inlet complete rewire of the car, unless you go down carb or TB rout. make a drive shaft mount and top engine mount also better brakes and posibly bigger fuel pump, new exhaust.

 

okay sound like a big job then.. either i'm buying a fiesta 1,25 or spend some more money on a focus 2.0.. it dosent sound like a easy project the transplant the engine into the fiesta..
