simple question
had a double sink
now got a single sink
the pipes were blocked off
now they are cloging up
just want to change one pipe
but can't
no one will sell the elbow i want on it's own
can anyone help?

the pipe on the right is connected
the ones on the left and the middle are blocked off
all i need is an elbow from the right hand pipe to the u-bend, but all the ones i can find singularly have the bigger fitting/thread on them even though they are all labeled 40mm
apparently i need a 32mm kit, but no one does it other than in a kit, and i don't want to fork out £20 odd for a kit when the elbows can be had for £2 (albit it the wrong ones
)
where can i go to find one?

why dont you just get rid of all the other pipe work and put the trap straight on the waste on your single sink? then alter the pipe slightly to suit?
40mm is 1 1/2 inch what you use for sinks, you use 32mm for stuff like hand basins.

You don't need any "Special" bends.
Use a standard compression elbow either 32mm or 40mm whichever is the correct size.
The pipe on the right is a slide fit into the centre cross (adjusts for different sink sizes), fit the standard elbow straight onto the end of that.
The "J" piece of the trap will either have a tapered seal on the top or a collar that you can cut off then fit the other end of the Standard elbow onto there.

It's £2 more than he wants to spend.
The height between the sink outlet and the trap outlet will be different, even if it's an adjustable one, and he'll be on here for the next 6 weeks asking how to stop the leak.
