Havent you just answered your own question?

A tuner will set the boost up according to the engine. Mine is at 14.5 psi (1bar). standard bottom end with stage 2 head. If you just whack the boost up looking for more power you'll melt something within 50 miles i guarantee it. Been there, so have all my mates, and we've all got the very expensive t-shirts.

Got the power already I think, just need the gearing. In the confines of Brunters I managed to do 0-limiter in 5th-0 twice on the main straight
