i've spent 1 year now spending most weekends restoring my mk2 xr2, and all i have is a rolling shell. but with 2 kids and a big drop in wages its got to go. gutted! any1 else been in this position?

 

no how you feal mate just spend spend spend and its never dun park it up and leave it for a few years

 

could do with the dollar and its all ways on my mind, so if its on my mind i'll want to work on!

I end up with this all the time, which is why I avoid bare shell build ups or restos now, they never get finished
I now intend to just do projects that can still spend most of the time usable still. I don't plan on selling any of my current toys, as they are either usable now or with very little effort. Just plan on moving to make room for more!
