Default Heat lagging rs turbo manifold

Quick question, ive just lagged my downpipe on the s1 to try and give my starter a chance of surviving this time and just wondering if its worth doing the manifold as i have some left.
Been googling and opinions seem to vary, some saying its worth doing and some saying the manifold will just run hotter, just wondering what peeps opinions are on this, worthwhile or not?

Bringing the turbo on boost earlier is one thing, but keeping that heat in isn't a good thing for the exhaust valves!!
