Oil commin out dump valve, well 90% rst's do this anyway, depends how much tho, if its allot then worn oil seals on the turbo.

its a new turbo and it dont smoke at all where as my last one did alot all i can think of is its a breather problem making oil go to the metering unit via that big pipe

check the breather hose that returns to the block isnt "blocked" lol cant see it going through metering head tho could be possible tho although never heard of it happening, wldnt rule it out. take boost hose off turbo and metering unit and you'll be able to tell where the oils comming from i'd immagine!!

as for engine not stalling when cap's pulled off, well could be due to worn piston rings, if ure worried get a compression check, not every RST does it tho afaik, although they should

hope it aint worn piston rings cos its hardly done any miles its rebuilt with low comp pistons and steel rods if it was wouldnt it chuck out smoke all the time while im driving it

dont think the pipe going from rocker cover to the block is blocked

the oil in the metering unit couldnt it come from the pipe that goes round the bk of te engine from the oil breather system

check that the pipe hasn't gone rock hard and it's NOT full of old baked oil from years old shit, all the Rst Escorts I know round my way stall when you remove the filler cap unless their running Efi systems or an other.
