...giant leap for me.
Today I travelled to the Excited States of America to see my friend John. He's got a shed full of cossie bits and is a master wrench puller.
The dude at the border said "What is a Ford Cosworth engine?". He adjusted his aviators and asked mt to pop the trunk. He took one look in the "boot" and just closed it. Came back and said "Enjoy your stay in Washington State."
Not a big deal for many of you but I can count on one hand how many people I'd trust with a YB within 5000 miles of me. Luckily he is only 120 miles away. Knowing my engine is being rebuilt and sorted really gets me motivated to spend this coming weekend prepping the Sapphire for the start of the resto.
I guess you'll see me posting some pictures in the resto area soon with some more back story on this car. I'm glad I saved at least one Cosworth from an uncertain demise. I see so many cars being broken over there and always wonder if the shell just ends up getting crushed.

The other side of Canada (say Halifax) is more than halfway to the UK. Shipping for parts is crazy. 8 hours difference too. It's just past midnight here.
English is the only easy part.
