Default Fiesta Losing Water????

Basically my fiesta RS Turbo doesnt overheat or anything but the header tank is always empty after a journey.

If i undo the cap slightly when warm the water does bubble up so i no its completely escaping.

I have just filled coolant up to the max mark. Drove to my mates and took him out for about 30 mins ish. After the car has stopped and cooled the header tank is empty again....?

any ideas.

The oil cap has no mayo in it etc.

the heaters dont get warm in the car.... and no smoke from the exhaust etc.

MSD had it 3 days ago and on the report said there is a small leak somewhere at the front of the engine....?

either top it up and let it run while looking for the leak or see if you can get it pressure tested to find the leak, if its a visible lek it shouldn't be anything major

maybe ring msd see if they can tell you what was leakin?

I would say you need to get the system upto pressure and then leave the cap on and look for leaks.
If MSD have had it and report a small leak then surely you can contact them and get more details.

its gotta be going somewhere, if you can't see a external leak perhaps

remove your spark plugs and see if any of them look washed

As already metioned, are the footwells damp? if there is nothing under the car then it would suggest a leak inside the car,my heater matrix is leaking very slightly so am havin to top up occasionally,im just waiting on a new one

it could be a core plug, i had the tiniest of weeps from the one behind the cam wheel, eventually it became more apparent.

right found the leak!

Its coming from the read of the head, underneath inlet manifold area rusty/brown water is spraying from that general area.

Will try and get a picture if i can....
