Default zvh oil return best place

As above in the block or the sump.I was supplied two non threaded unions.Ctm engineering didnt do the return as i supplied a non threaded union because they wanted to srew it into the sump.The firm that sold me the unions say just press it into the block.Anyone shed some light.Im getting there slowly

Tensioner and waterpump

Should be pressed into the front of the block in the exact same place as on the CVH turbo block. NOT in the sump.

deffo not in the sump as it'll give resistance to oil return and oil seal inturbo won't like that.
press it into the block in same place as rst if you can.

Ive been told to open this bolt hole up and stick my return in there

that'll do, but you'll need to get a threaded fitting or drill it out and push fitting in.

it is in the same place as my oil return and i've had no issues with it.

Two people have told you to put it in the STD place it should be, i.e the same place as the ERST block.

Buy the connector from Ford 58p and fit it in the correct place.

I got a threaded one off a bloke on ebay like this



I dont think it makes any differance wether its pressed in or screwed in
