basically after i done the thermostat, the car wouldnt start when i did start runnin fine but when it went to idle it would back fire and cut out, then went to start it, while trying to start it, it was back fire loud and not start.
any ideas? it has been perfect for 2 years.

have you disturbed any of the ht leads while working in that area?

 

no there all fine, i took each plug out and tested it on the ht lead and got a strong spark,
i think its using to much fuel and not enogh air

 

check the breathers and air pipes matey

 

did you knock the breather hose off the metering unit? or caused an air leak ?

 

i havent checked the breathers i got it going again, but cut out. ill check breathers tomorro, im aware i need new injectors which is havin done in 2 weeks time
