Default what polish/ wax do you guys use?

i'm looking to give my car a good polish, i want a really deep shine on it and i'm wondering whats the best stuff to use. all i've really done since i got it was give it a quick wax using meguiars tech wax.

i've never really been in to the bufty stuff but this car is at an ok standard so i'd like to keep it that way.

i've posted a a pic to show the colour just incase that affects what should be used.
any products you could recommend would be appreciated

I use Jeffs Workstat polishes, prime, gloss and jet, leaves a superb finish. I would clay the car first as well with a Megs Clay Kit (about Ł22 in Halfrauds!)

As said get yourself a clay kit it works wonders
Wash car first, then clay the car, then you can use a polish, then give her a good coat of wax job done should be cleaming after that

Polish: Autoglym - ultra deep shine

Glaze: Poorboys - Black Hole

Wax: Poorboys - natty blue wax or Autoglym high definision wax

I would clay it first though for sure!

Thats just what i use though, other people would find other stuff better/worse etc

I have found the poorboys wax is alot easier to use than the Autoglym stuff!

Have a look at www.detailedobsession.com or polishedbliss.com (or co.uk cant remember), good websites for looking through, avoid any of the 'high street' polishes though!

Glaze just gives it a really deep and glossy shine, fills in any imperfections in the paint, just makes it look that much nicer

The polish is about a tenner

Glaze is about Ł12

Wax, poorboys (which i would go for over the Autoglym) is about Ł12 and Autoglym is about Ł40

I found the best place to order all this stuff is www.cleanyourcar.co.uk

When i got my series on e the paint work was as flat as fook.
One of my mates suggested mopping the car.
Was a little bit hesitant as heard some horror stories, but OMFG what i difference looks like its just been painted.
But one thing i did find out speak to supplier etc is you can use 3M rossa hand glaze as a normal polish used it last weekend and is by far the best polish i have ever used.
Easy to apply and a joy to get off can even be used on the glass and plastics.
Its a little on the pricey side but very good.
