is there much difference for solid paint to metallic ??

nearly all the 51 plate ka's i see are rusty heaps of shit,if the car needs cake allover and new sills welding in its a big job.
and yeas theres a difference,theres also a huge difference in quality and cost of materials that should do the same job.

 

between a grand and 1500 i would have said for a pretty straight job.. dents and rust will add extra. paint is not cheap now i tell ya.. my mate dale owns a bodyshop.

 

and 51 plate run of the mill ka's trade at around 800 quid to 1200 quid if tidy therefore making the above estimate uneconomical.

i would tart it up and fuck it off and buy a decent car like a yaris or a clio.
