I'm converting my 4x4 saph to 2wd and I'm trying to gather together a few bits.
I'm after a 2wd gearbox cradle and 2wd rear beam.
I'm not worried about the mount for the gearbox as I'll be fitting an uprated one and I don't need the trailing arms as I will clean up and fit my old ones so just need the part that the diff fits in.
Thanks in advance!

Hi mate, you don't need a 2wd mount, you need a special one from ford to fit a T5 into a MT75 chassis
Order finis code 6177696 , it is then a direct fitment
. You can leave the 4x4 beam in there as well, it will work fine on a 7" 4x4 rear diff. If you want the extra strength, you can just get the 2wd diff and shafts, and take 1/2" off the casing, and it will fit your beam without having to change anything else.

Alrite mate,
Cheers for replying! Can you still get these mounts from Frauds and do you know how much they are? Thanks for the Finis code! my local dealer don't like looking up cossie bits! Lol!
I was going to use the original 7'' diff but got told they were a bit weak for what I want to do. I will be putting at least 450bhp through it. I was going to replace the standard diff with a Quaife item anyway.
Cheers for your help and advice mate!

Yes, ford should be able to get that mount for you. As regards to the rear diff, a 7.5" 2wd would be the best cheap option, but at 450+ it is always going to be the weak link.
