Does anyone know if they made a Parcel shelf for the Mk4 Escort Estate?

There doesnt seem to be any fittings or anything where one would go and I havent had any luck tracking one down but it seems a bit wierd that you can see in the boot space by looking through the windows and Ford didnt think about this.

Ive contemplated tinting the rear windows, but that would give the car a different feel, Id rather keep it as standard looking as I can.

Don't they have Tonneau's?

 

There doesnt seem to be any fixings, for a tonneau or a solid shelf, but Id have imagined one or the other.

Saying that tho, it was back in 1988 so who knows!
