Default full service s2 erst

as my mate has got himself a s2 erst, he has noticed that the water pump is dripping a tad and only seems to be the gasket i think.
bearing is not noisy at all.

just to be safe he wants me to do the water pump, oil pump, tensioners, cambelt.
as I'm from the c20Xe and c20let scene i have no idea of where i can get good quality ford parts from. i use autovaux and is all OE stuff.

is there anything of the like for ford or shall i go to euro car parts?

cheers all

Just use a std motor factors, I've used QH stuff for over 20 years without problems, but the new DAYCO belt/tensioner kits are good, use these myself.
The rst is a very easy lump to work on, tensioner is easy as well, just has a wheel on a sliding affair with slotted ends, so tension up tighten bolts either side.
Don't forget fuel filter.
I would use Mahle fuel filter, if you can get it, and a known make oil filter, ford are certainly nothing to be proud off oil filter wise, had more trouble with genuine ford filters than all the others put together.

so euro car parts would be OK as any motor factors.
just that i find the ecp cheaper than everywhere else.

I've never used them, so can't comment, I get my stuff locally as need it there and then, but if you've never had a problem with vaux stuff sure the ford stuff will be fine too, made by same people.

If you can get away with not using Euros i would, if you dont have a choice then be very specific about what yopur ordering as they tend to send/give you the wrong parts.

has happened to me quite a few times.

that has happened to me 1ce with them tbh.
other than that i tend to take the old part off and take it with me to them for comparison with the new.

also noticed that sometimes it fails to start and cranks very slow, as if the battery is dieing !!
but if i leave it for 5-10 Min's starts first time.
other times it starts 1st time.
the fuel pump does prime as can be heard.
