Default New car...sorry its not a ford :(

Just getting the chance to share my new vehicle with you fine people, I know its not a blue oval but I like these cars and thought I'd get one to get it out my system early.

Its a 1988 mk2 Gti 8v. 120,000 miles. Oak Green. Adjustable Coilovers. 17" Momo Arrows. Full Service history. Half Jetex system with twin 2 and a half inch back box.

All criticism welcome.

Head wobble for you

They suit the golf great for the age of the car, i must admit on a big bumper they would look better but as that is an early small one it can be forgiven . Sooo much better than some of the wheels from that age (1996 iirc they were made)

Really like the colour of that MK2

Nice looking motor, nice miles for that age, think the wheels look great. What did you pay?

The wheels I love but my choice right now is smaller alloys or raise the suspension, I'm gonna raise the suspension. Every time I go over a bump faster than 10mph it rubs on the rear arches. The front wheels rub alot on full lock. It needs a reverse light switch and a rear caliper. I was given a set of stamped euro plates but I ain't sure if they're legal?

And I paid Ł1000 for it

reminds me of my old 16v golf. It was a small bumper model, had 17" khan rsr's. If I remember rightly it was E735 CHS. It had full elec pack inc mirrors windows and sunroof. it also had a full leather interior
