Take a good look at the question again. You cant say what engine it is as cosworth did more then ford alone. Plus it doesn't say 2wd/4wd etc etc. I thought a turbo engine but turns out to be a high comp N/A engine. So why do you think the reactions where a bit wierd?

strip it right down and sell it like that
steel crank new is the best part of 1500 quid maybe more
if its a 200 block they are hens teath

N/A are worth a mint, i would try a rally mag or rally sport paper mate, maybe lucky there, or try the rally boys in classic ford

it takes a good bit of money to convert it to N/A, that has to be taken into consideration.
get it on ebay and then see what it brings.
