4x4 Saff Round 2
Hello All,
Thought I'd share some pics of my recent purchase - a 1991 J plate Saff 4x4.
I used to own this in 2007 (bought it off a friend) but after 6 months I sold it on as I was driving to Canary Wharf daily. The car found its way back to my friends bro in law in 2008 and when it came back on the market again, I snapped it up without hesitating!!!!
I plan on treating her to some fresh paint over the coming months (spots of laquer peeling - mainly on bonnet and i tiny bit of rust). Also fancy changing to the Ford Soft Spoke alloys.
After that I'll pay some more attention to the interior - namely the headlining and door cards.
Mechanically it believe fine for now - even though i dont need to use it everyday, i still end up using it on everyday situations! - T34, greens, etc etc
let me know what you think
Cheers

qadir reckons i should get the bonnet resprayed and just get the rest of the car polished up but I'm thinking just to go all out and get a full respray
lol, hes not a paintwork man though is he... he prefers to go for a blast. than look pretty.
Anyway yeah id deffo get bonnet and rear bumper as rear bumper would be really cheap. arches are like £250 to get done properly so nothings to expensive its the engine what costs the money so i think you have done the right thing.
Get it into joes though for a service and set up just to be on the safe side...
