Default What rods are these-cvh rs turbo?

These came from a bottom end in the garage just wondered if anyone knew what they was from? The car has had alot of work by turbo systems but cant see anything on there website???

Standard I should think. They don't look anything special. I don't have a standard set to compare to I'm afraid.

An odd looking rod. Certainly not standard.

Possibly from one of the diesel engines as they used a stud and 12 sided nut arrangement from what I can remember.

i have some rods out of my old turbosystems 2.0 cvh it used triumph dolomite rods and merc 190e pistons ! will have a look for them.

That would help as looking at the pistons they are defo bigger than standard.

Just measured the pistons & they measure 83.5mm so defo not standard size!

could be the 1.8cvh from the sierra, as a friend of mine has just put a 1.8cvh engine in is erst and it had that type of nut on the con rod

Been looking at the rods & they are triumph dolomite rods, Going to ring turbo systems tomorrow & see if they can shed some light..

was it neasden nw london tubosystems that done the work? my rods have some of the numbers ground off so had to go through loads of research to find out what they were.
do i win anything ?
