Default problem with my s2 ??

on idle my car doesnt smoke but when i put my foot down and come on boost when i let off smoke that is turbo isnt it ? or could it be something else when i took my charge carrier pipe off the was oil in there didnt know if that was anything else of a problem too ? cheers in advance

Yes mate does sound like turbo oil seal to me.

another thing to check mate is the oil breather filter mine was smokin once and changed the filter and no more smoke or it might be your rings has the turbo got any play init?

mines done the same loads of play in shaft can it be fixed or does it mean new turbo i thought it would be but now thinkin it could be fixed or is it not worth it ??

just get a tidy 2nd hand one im sure some1 on here will have a decent turbo for sale
