hi, i am looking what brake kits i am going to do for both front and rear, but i am finding it very hard what to do for the rear to keep the handbrake cable system. i know that hi-spec does this kit bur i prefer not to use them, i want something different! any help please ?? what brake kits are you using please!!
On the front I've gone for AP5200 4pot calipers with 330mm disks & DS2500 pads, on the rear I've got brand new standard calipers & pads with 330mm disks. Braided hoses through out & SRF fluid.
Ive got AP 355 6 pot kit on the front with std new calipers and 300mm disks on the back it did have hi-spec 4 pot handbrake calipers on the back but they were far too much for the rear without fitting a bias valve imo & the handbrake mec part of them is terrible wouldnt even hold the car.
No the ap 4 pot kit is from reyland and the hand brake caliper and bracket ect i made up myself as there is not a kit for this but i have lent people the brackets that i made and others have coppied them
no mate just the standard one fitted and all is well but some do fit them and if the car was to be used hard on track then i might allso fit one but as for now i havent needed one and i do use the brakes hard
