Fiesta Possible Overboost Air filter fallen off

Air filter has just fallen off my fiesta and now it wont boost properly.

It boosts but feels like its overboosting

Its Running T3 and the air filter is at the side of a road somewhere :S

Is it normal thanks

an air filter is a restriction, so would boost a little easier, to be honest i'm shocked you've noticed it though as the difference would be so small really
