i know this is not for wanted or for sale but i cannot post in that thread so..
i am new to this and dont know much about xr2's but my boyfriend wants one for a project, i want to buy him one for about £300 a non runner or runner but one that needs work on it, i have looked on ebay but there isn't much on there for that price.
does anyone know where i can get one for him? nothing special it just needs to be mk2 xr2 at about £300.i need something quite local so rotherham, sheffield or doncaster really.

ive found one now the engine is fine and so is the interior it just needs a lot of welding work donig to it, do you think it is worh buying this then him getting a new shell or do you really think this is too much work?
and does anoyone know how much a new shell would be for a mk2 xr2?

you wont fined a new shell any more im afrayed it all depends how much welding does the car need? and would it end up being easyer to shell it into a minter lower spec shell?

thats what i did any way lol but left it looking like a 1.1

 

You won't be able to buy a "new" shell for it just like that. If you know the engine and interior are definitely fine, definitely, then £300 might be an ok price even if it needs a lot of welding. Hell it's a Ford, they all need welding.
