Im no detective but there seems to be no 16i fans in this forum.thes never any1 2 crack with about my passionford.
Im a site virgin an could do with sum 16i pals to gain advise on the full restoration of my car

Cosworth's aren't everything. Technically they're not even as great as half you lot make out. They're good yes, but lets keep the passion ford based
I've noticed since joining that if it's not cosworth then many people dont wanna know. Which kinda puts a downer on the feel of the forum.
That pisses me off a bit, its passionford, not passioncosworth.

i embrace all ford models as i have owned a fair few of em, XR2 , XR3i , MK1 escort, 4 * MK2 RS2000 , Mk2 Mex, S2 Turbo, 2 cossies an honestly i like the look of the 16i especially the seats, they are lush. And you are right cossie aint the be all and end all mate. The cossie engine is fab but the body that wraps around it is shite. Just my opinion.

Welcome to the forum, not everyone is just interested in only cossies.
I love the rs1600i, and the first generation XR3.
The last odd comment someone made to me at a rolling road shoot out, was why I was drooling over a Renault 5GT Turbo, and not the 30 + evo scooby, supra etc, as someone pointed out he'd spent over 40K on his, so I said they're boring, don't like em, but all the work on the 5GT had been done by owner not by cheque book, so was a lot more impressive.
I'm not brand loyal at all, there is some real shit to the design of the cossie, as there is to evo scooby skyline etc.
Anyway stop gassing and get the piccies up, please.
There's piccies of a seriously lush green one in the current(october's) PPC magazine.
Having been there when this car was there being mapped, I can say it's a LOT more impressive in the flesh, page 97.

im a fan of the rs1600i love this car i know someone who has one up his yard been sitting on axle stands for about a year and not had no work done

Usually not, but it's the general feel of the forum. Lesser model is only to what you're driving... We're all lesser model owners to the 911 guys, for example.
I like the variety, but not the attitude towards it sometimes.

the thing is we all have a choice to be here on pf,
if we really dont like the attitude on here then there are loads of other ford sites.
www.ukfordoc.com is a fantastic site
as is www.rs2000-16v.com
as is passionford,
is all depends what your after.
passionford does have a huge cossy and rst following oh and dont forget the bmw owners that are on here

It's difficult to find a forum i like the feel of (in terms of the look of it and how easy/effortless and uncomplicated it is to use frequently).
everything else is great, there's a good deal of help available too if ya patient, just every now and then someone will make the forum look a tad too biased. i'm not leaving for that!! lol.
i find certain types of people go on certain forums, there doesn't seem to be many chav's or tossers on PF. I'm a massive piston head (petrol or diesel, if it's decent) and it appears a lot of the PF lot are too.
