rs turbo brake sizes
hi there just bought a set of rs turbo discs n calipers off of ebay. just wondering, im going to buy pads but noticed that theres two different types depending on early spec rs turbo and late spec rs turbo. were the disc sizes or calipers different on later cars? dunno how to tell what ive got so i can order pads, thanks
he says he bought the calipers of ebay so his reg int gunna do anything. cuz he would just read the badge on the back of the car if that was the case haha.
i think the RSturbo had same brakes as xr4x4. i didnt think ther was any differance. although its poss S1 didnt have ABS and S2 did. xr4x4 has abs, might be pad sensors or not

The series 1 RST had 240mm discs, the series 2 had 260mm discs, so just use a tape measure.
I wouldn't get a cheapo set on a car like this, you want kevlar at least, the basic ebc at around £15 contain kevlar, and for a basic pad are extremely good, but oif course a perfomance pad would be better.

like i said tho ferodo pads for around a fiver will be bang on ive had green stuff and ebc and cant tell the difference so not worth the extra money imo if ferodo are good enough for the btcc then they are good enough for me! (and yes i know they will use different compounds for racing but the brand as a whole are good) and m4tt274 i mentioned reg as this is typically what motor factors ask for these days and he does not at all mention that they are not going on an rs turbo
