Default ZVH 1.8 to a 2.1

Hi All. I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading the bottom end on my 1.8 ZVH Fiesta. My engine was rolling roaded at 222BHP & 216 lb/ft a couple of years ago but has since had an MSD chip/setup & a bit more boost. Current spec is..

1.8 ZVH
T3 Stg 3 Turbo (peaks at 17psi)
Beige injectors, uprated fuel pump
Stg 3 big valve head (Ian Howell)
CVH34 cam
GRS cooler

I'm trying to convince myself it is worth going for a forged 2.1 bottom end, I'm just concerned that I won't get much more out of it than current spec so hoping for some advice!

I understand I will probably need bigger injectors & possibly even turbo but would be willing to do this if I'm likely to get good gains.

Thanks muchly!
Ben

not so much the end figure, but more the spead in which it hits maximum torque and holds it, it should reach your existing figure much earler, hold for longer and be under less stress, but if its forged you will be able to push it much further. I can see a new gearbox, brake upgrade, etc etc on the cards

Ive gone fully forged, for the piece of mind if nothing else
