Nearly everything mechanical is getting removed from my Capri in preparation of 24v power going in so it's all for sale.

To make life easy for myself and offer you lot a bargain here's the deal I'm offering.....
Give me £500 and you can unbolt as much or as little you like from under the bonnet!

Recently I shelled out £500 at Seditas Cars (Scotland's only Weber specialist garage) on having twin 40s refurbed and jetted to suit the current 2.0 Pinto engine. These have seen 100 miles at the most since fitted! The bottom end started knocking, and that was the last straw for me....



Under the bonnet:
Twin 40 side-draught Webers with short trumpets, manifiold & brand new Weber linkage.

Facet fuel pump & Filter King

Big valve head (don't know the spec but it was freshly done by a garage that deals with stockcars, and expensive!)

FR32 camshaft

Anodised red vernier pulley

2.0 bottom end, built by Sykespeed, fully balanced revs to 8000RPM. Will need attention though as it was knocking.

Good type 9 box, no crunches or whines

Luminition Optical kit (cost £130+) and distributor

Various ancillaries, fairly new alternator & starter, fuel pump, fairly new leads and ignition coil, rare 3.0 Essex radiator etc...

Ashley 4 branch exhaust manifold

Powerflow stainless exhaust, good fit and has skid plates welded on (these cost £300 new!)

Custom retro style oil catch tank




This setup should be good for 150BHP+ easily, and going from previous experience it felt like at least that.
What I need to keep: Crossmember, steering rack, all suspension, battery, wiring loom, braking system, strut brace, washer bottle.


If it doesn't sell as a job lot everything will go separately on Ebay and make me much more moneys, so get in quick!


The car is currently at Chizfab in Lochgelly, Fife.... ready to be dismantled.
