I have taken out my standard seats in my mk5 Fiesta Zetec S and put in FRST Recaros and have un pluged the wires under the seats, now my ABS, traction control and air bag light are on all the time, how can i stop this? Also my engine temp gauge goes upto the red when i first start the car then fulls straight back to show cold and stays there any ideas what could be causing this? (This was happening before i removed the seats)

The ABS and traction control light would indicate that one of your ABS sensors is at fault, so I would get it hooked up on diagnostics to find out which one is not working.

As for the Airbag light, it there is no real way to stop it doing this, unless you remove the seatbelt pretensioners and connect them back up, but leave them unused under the seat. Other way to do it is to find out what resistance they are, and fit a resistors to counteract this.

As for the temp gauge, I'm not really sure and cant advise you on that.
