The best option for performance is the standard box with an K&N panel filter. The XR3i and RST filter fit eachother.

maybee when you sit in traffic and get massive heat soak then the standard air box is better but when your out on the open road flying along I have seen better ACT temps from the cone filter !

Well said Dave

Cone filters are a total waste of money, i have a standard very dirty ford panel filter in a airbox identical to Daves(vroooomptssssh) and im getting 205.1 @ the wheels.

You trying to tell me i would get more power putting on an exposed filter that sits about 2 feet from a roasting hot turbo

only time heat from turbo will get to it is standing still! unless suddenly heat rises to the left?????

we could all argue about this all day long but at the end of the day its personel preference ! I have personally seen better ACT temps from using my cone filter so I think I'll stick with that !
