Default t3/t4

im tryin to get hold of a new turbo found one is bien sold as a t3/t4 hybrid been told need to make a bit of space as its bigger and need a bigger exhaust housing connection is this true and where do i get one from anyone else got one of these turbos ???

it may have cosworth exhaust housing connection on the back so you will need part of a cossy downpipe and you may need a spacer for where it bolts on the manifold as the compressor housing may foul but with the spacer fitted its going to be very close to the rad so you may need to move that too! also depending what exhaust housing and engine spec you have it may be very laggy

i have one also in my garage.im 99%sure the rst exhaust elbow just bolts on.only bit that looks bigger is the front turbo housing.dont think you should need to make anymore room.im actually gona go buy an rst elbow and fit it to it.

Turborevs T3/T4 turbochargers consisting of a T3 turbine section, (standard, Stage II or Stage III trim) and a T4 compressor section (T04B trim or T04E trim). The T3/T4 offers the low inertia and fast boost response of the light weight T3 turbine wheel and the high airflow characteristics of the T4 compressor family, making the T3/T4 the turbo of choice for high performance “import” applications

yeh it sounds like that mate,the front housing is bigger but the rear im positive the rst elbow bolts straight on.will go hunt for one ebay.

and will prob surge its bollox off

they're rubbish, it'll make good boost eventually but you'll need to rev the fook out of the engine to get any boost at all.
