Default I think my car is broken

S2 RS turbo a while back just started cutting out and popping and bangingm shes been off the road for 5 months and the same is happening.

Sometimes it will start, othertimes it will not start and will just bang, pop and shoot flames. When it does start its lumpy as foook!

I have changed headgasket, got new head, changed plugs and leads...

What could it be, im really getting the the end of my rope with her and im ready to just scrap it!

is the firing order correct? is the valve timing correct, hard to diagnose online, start with the basic checks first

If it pops and bangs i'd recommend starting with the fuel system. When my alternator belt snapped the battery drained just before it died it was popping and banging and missfiring all over the place cos there was not enough fuel getting to the engine.

if it only happened when you started to boot it, there might have been some shit in the fuel system pulled through, try changing the filter and checking the injectors.

i had a problem like this, my plugs were knackered. new set fitted and sorted. I know you changed them so you can rule this out. my other suggestion is the dizzy is on its way out?
