Default Stuttering when putting foot down

ive just got my Cossie managed Escort Rs turbo on the road and its drivavble but when you plant your foot it kinda stutters before it comes on boost and then goes fine, im not sure what to check its got a brand new bosch cossie fuel pump and new sensors most of the way round,

any ideas? ive been told that i need to set my tps which i dont think i did when i got the kit but im not sure how to do it.

Check plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm, sounds like it could be to do with ignition and those are the first things to check

ive got new plugs in it along with new fuel, new filter, oil change, oil filter. and its on wasted spark igntion, sorry should have said that lol!

will swap the leads with my mates turbo and see if it changes.

Could be TPS, sounds like it's lacking fuel when your first put your foot down.

so it just needs setting correctly? i remember hearing that i need to take it off and turn it or summit and then refit it? does that make sense?

I take it when you mean you've just got it on the road that it's a fresh conversion, ie you've not driven it before?

If that's the case - what chip are you using? I think I had the same problem as you on my old Ka that I converted to RST power. *Just* before coming on boost (so around 0 vacuum and 0 psi) it would feel like it didn't want to go, but then the tiniest hint of + pressure and it was off like a rocket. I swore it was the chip I was using but never got round to changing it to see if the problem went away. Might be worth a shot.

its one of janos chips.
and it was ok when he set it up a few months ago! just had a thought do map sensors need to be earthed? as mine isnt currently bolted to anything and i think it was when it was set up.

ok well map sensor is now earthed, ive changed the leads and ive also tried adjusting the top trigger wheel fowards and backwards but it still hasnt made a difference which leads me to the tps but i have no idea how to set it!
