When at the 'Ring a few years ago - back when Stu MSD had a Cossie, they went very soft and one ended up causing an isue with coming off the rim nearly

Might of been T1S though............. Either way, it wasn't good

The r is supposed to have harder outers than the s, owing to this being a problem with the s version.
I also found the r version a lot worse in this respect, and worse all round than the s version.

I've had T1R on the cossie(std size), but now on Hancook Ventus V12 evo, way better than the toyo, similar money, around £65 ish, better also than the F1, in dry better than the rainsport 2 but, rainsport scores better in wet, just.

Had T1rs on a standard 1800 Focus and chewed up the outer edges, even with the alignment a suspension in perfect condition, especially on the rears..

I ran them all round at cadwell today and there was a couple of pics from the official photographer of the tyre very nearly rolling off the rim on the tight corners. Car seemed to move around quite abit initially as it turned (sidewall flexing) but stuck alright after that. Soon get through a set tho

i had them on the st the fronts lasted for 5000 miles and wore the inside edges out but had quite a bit of camber on it lowered by about 90mm on coilies lol and the outside edges on the rears are worn out but the insides are ok and there was a lot of camber on there to as lowered a similar height i blamed it on two roundabouts i used to abuse a lot for the outside edges and general hard cornering

I used to get 16,000 miles from the S version, but only managed 6,000 from the R version on gf 911 turbo astra.
