Default how difficult is it to buy a focus 1.6 3door lol!

hello! well im very new to the ford scene at the moment im driving around in a saxo vtr with lots of parts falling off lol!
im about to move house to somewhere nice where my neighbours wont key my car! lol!
so i took out a 2k bank lone and had £1500 in my savings so thats £3500 to spend on my next car!
i wanted a focus 1.6 zetec 3 door so started looking on autotrader.com and ringing around my various contacts at work as im mechanic.
well 3 weeks later still havent found one!!!!!!!
am im dreaming? the most popular car on the planet and i cant find one!
and all the ones i have found have been write offs or have outstanding finance! and the ones that havent have been dogs!
any help or advice would be great! or if you have a said car and dont live a million miles away from hampshire let me know if you want to sell lol!
tony!

Have you thought about a 1.8 Zetec 3dr? Not a lot more to insure, more common and a bit quicker.

Get a 1.8, much better engine

Between me and my mrs, we've had 3 1.6 zetec-se engines, and they've all drank oil!

I had a 2001 1600cc 3dr, was hard to find but they are there, your better off getting a 1800cc more available and insurance wont be much more.

If insurance is the problem then go for the 2.0 Focus as they are a group 8, 1 group up from a Saxo Vtr. The 1.8 Focus is also worse on the juice than the 2.0
