Has anyone ever broken a car, and regretted it?
???
Thinking it's time for mine to be dismantled, but deep down I don't want to. Need the cash though.
Anyone done it and really regretted it?

i broke my fiesta back end of last year begining of this. spent proabbly hundereds of hours on the shell, which was a very decent one, stitch welding it, modifying the bay to accept an mtx75 box. loads of new parts, loads of trick bits, then had to break it because my parents were emigrating and i had nowhere to keep it
gutting but i had no choice.
i kind of do regret breaking mine, i realise now just how good it was, and regret not doing what i built it for, i just got fed up with it
but i dont miss spending the money on it lol

I miss breaking my old Fiesta, was so quick and just how I wanted it, but it had a feature, ran a some quick times so decided it was a good time to move on.
So wish I could have afforded to just stick it in garage but there was too much money tied up in it.
Still regret it now though

I'll regret breaking mine for ever I think. But was made redundant, so it was either our bricks or my car!
Funnily enough, the following month I landed a good job and would have been able to keep it!
Never even got to do any times in it or anything either, which makes it worse...

Kind comments like it was a shed/nail/slow are welcomed to make me feel better

that said, in about 94/95 i had my 3 door that i spend an absolutle shit load of money on and was my pride and joy
then i burnt a bit of loom on it and it needed a new ecu and an engine loom and possibly some injectors
not much by today's standards, but back then there was no internet and eventually i flogged the whole lot for Ł3k
bet someone was rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of about Ł20k's worth of 3 door sitting there with about a grands worth of fixing needed doing to it
and back in the day it had 330's, 17's, some properly special suspension with remote dampers etc and had just had a full repsray (although the day after it'd had come back, the old man thought it best to stove in the drivers side 1/4 panels and trash the bumper while reversing it out of the garage
)
