hi there

I have an old 1.3 HCS fiesta that I plan on putting a 2.0 into

now the original plan was to put in the mondeo silvertop as it is the most common and that is what peopl recommended to me... however I would much prefer to put the newer black top 2.0 engine from say a Focus in instead due to it being that little bit more refined and just to be a bit different.

has anyone done this? are there any write ups I could look at? I reallise it wouldn't be as straight foreward as the silvertop is but I am willing to give it a go and have plenty of people to help me out when I do finally get round to startng it over the winter

any help/advice/information would be a huge help as I wanna get this started a.s.a.p.

oh great, is there a project thread anywhere?

was it a lot of heavy customization and modification to get it to fit? was it a nightmare to do?
