Default Anyone got a "classic" policy?

Like kitcar policies these seem to be considerably cheaper than mainstream car insurance. Anyone got one on an only car,or main car?

I have a classic policy on the 4i.

4000 miles a year fully comp, all mods listed etc £280.

Can't drive other cars on this policy

I used to have one on my 2nd RS2k-16v, the main requirement for this companies classic policy was the car had to be over 15 years old.

IIRC it cost me under £200 fully comp for 5k miles a year with no other driver, car was standard

As said better to have it as an aditional policy, i got a really cheap qoute on the cossie a few years back but its still not on the road so not taken one out yet, but like most was about 5k miles all declared and was only £400 odd so should be a bit cheaper now. Not sure if u get no claims on a classic policy either?!

my 3dr costs me just over £100 a year on a classic, 1000 miles limit but I did less than 200 last year anyway and I use my ncd on my main driver policy

I used to have an xr2, no no claims, one fault accident, 168 quid a year. with 5000 mile limit. classic owners are a lot less likely to have a accident because we love our cars so much

I have on my 100E, £154 fully comp all mods declared, be aware the classic policys don't build up no claims bonus.

hmmm

see im looking at a classic as a daily driver and then a kitcar on a second policy, so I need about 7k a year on the classic and ideally 3rd party cover for other cars etc.
