I think to be worth while it has has has to be running big power
not so much power really, it depends how much boost you're running and the restrictions of the manifold.
a cvh turbo can run over 300bhp on a standard manifold, although it isn't as brilliant as a free flowing tubular one.
equally an actuator is only as good as the spring, so a new actuator at the right rating will be fine for decent power, i'd say 300bhp again, more if you look at cossies.
basically when you find the turbo is struggling and the wastegate opens too soon, then it's time to change.

i see where your coming from we was wondering if we should change the internal spring trouble is it was running and working fine on the engine i got which was a stage 3 built running 240bhp his engine is not far off 195 so think maybe change spring if no good il have it back on mine cheers guys
