hi, i used to run a new non genuine tank on mine and the thing was always causing fuel surges as some dont retain the inbuilt swirl pot, so for road use a genuine second hand one will be a better option, if ya can find a gooden. good luck

Hi buddy, i bought 2 of these over the years and unfortunatly as stated above, they dont prevent surge, so if your driving around with a quarter of a tank or less and go round a roundabout, the car nearly cuts out from lack of fuel. As suggested if you can find a good secondhand Gen Ford one then id go for that over one of the Hadrian/Beever ones

so thats why my car cuts out when i go round a roundabout fast, grrrr i had a feeling it was the tank as its the only thing i have replaced that could be causing it to do that..
