Hi,
I need more info. on the ecu mate,i take it we're talking Weber/iaw ecu?.
What software is needed to re-map the eeprom?,is the ecu enabled for 4 or 8 inj set-up?.
Does the ecu come with any nessesary mapping leads?.
What is is mapped for at the moment?.

i run same ecu and they are £1100 new

not weber no but they are straight fit as come in ford ecu casing

would have had this just as a spare but to muce for that !!

 

i think its just as easy as time/experiance with your mapper

ava done mine and i know first time round the car was great full throttle maps but needed the part throttle ones sorted which was done when they had more time spent with it

collins know absolutly nothing about the ecu though,its actually made by another company,cant mind the name off hand

ive phoned them a few times and not helpful atal,i wanted to run coilpack and had to buy another eprom from them to upgrade in ecu at cost of £100

 

Alrighty, call James he'll explain a bit more about the ECU, I THINK it's mapped for an escos on siemens injectors/low comp/BD16 newman cams/ported head....pretty sure it can run 8 injectors, but like I say call james he'll tell u exactly.
