Theres no Christmas works do for me as the guy is too fecking tight to put his hand in his pocket ...tight git

I was going to go and write this on the back of the van:

My boss has cancelled the works do so he can go to the zoo to blow a monkey

Any other suggestions welcomed

 

I don't really expect to have a works do, seen as i'm not working

We not havin a christmas works night out either, we been too busy to organise anything and it was too late when anyone thought about organising something, so we just gonny go down the pub and get lashed before heading in to meet up with other departments at an Irish pub/club in town though, quality, real beer and real whisky!

 

our company has 1 every 2 yrs! tight fisted coonts! we had it this year!

but ts a mutli million pound company!

 

We have one every year usually, we have to pay for it ourselves though! Could have something to do with the fact that I work for a Government Department! LOL

 

We have excellent Crimbo do's.

This year we went to Brands Hatch, all food and drink was totally free (all you can eat and drink) we also had a casino, a Caracture person and a live band and disco.
The company also put on taxi for everyone that needed one to and from and paid for it.
We also had a raffle with prizes such as a TV, weekend away, and we donated Ł3000 to Dimelza House.
We entertained over 150 people.

 

if it makes you feel better we had our works do at the london dungeon, everyhing free in cluding taxis home!

 

when they do it everythin is paid for though! & we do go to good places!

 

went to mine last wednesday

meal was poo but bar was free

 

Ours is 2morrow, Im givin it a miss, would rather go down the pub with me m8s.

 

Ours is in March cos we have too much business at Christmas!!!

 

our is tomorrow. Not completely free - got 11 beer tokens which should do me

got dodgems there too, but we gotta pay for that hopefully there will be some other companies in there too so we get to mingle with other company's totty

 

my company have just been taken over and the new bosses said they didn't have time to organise one

But I thought 'thats ok. I normally blag tickets to the Sony Music crimbo doo' But that was cancelled also due to them merging with another big company

 

I work for Llyods TSB. No xmas do for me. I work nights and they always arrange the xmas do for a friday night. When they know we will be working. Even if I did want to go, I'm a temp and so have to pay the full Ł60.

 

my company had a lads night out on sunday i never go
40 ish people turned up all day night heard the had a ball
then goes into work tonight monday pm
the fookers done a random drug test they new who they
wanted and 2 got sacked 4 days before xmas
work and nights out dont mix with GRASSES

 

no xmas do for any of the 120 managers inthe compnany or staff.

Howvere the head office is having a champagne reception, sit down meal and disco

All they do is 9-5 monday to friday. Me, i topped 67 hours last week and i have to trade on boxing day

what do i get?....................foook all

I had mine last night, free beer all night, now im feelin a bit worse for wear!!

 

I was gona get well pissed but there was no birds to chat up , and nobody to sing to so i just drank my coffee and went in the house
ps,,, I dont drink either ( alcohol that is)

 

Well my works do was the other night, but it wasnt free, and wasnt going to be that good (chinese buffet then night on the town) so considering most of the menegement was going to be there and I dont particularly like them I went out with my mates. I work for a multi-national aerospace company and they cant even get their fingers in their deep pockets to give everyone a bit of xmas cheer

Know how you feel mate........it`s a bit boring when you work for ya self innit.........If you weren`t so fooking far away i`d have come and had a mince pie with ya....

Had I thought of it you could have come to ours last thursday, MrsFrog wisely decided not to come.
You could have had one free drink, eaten crap food, listened to dodgy music and talked to the people you already spend far too much of your life with.

I'd prefer a little christmas bonus for the money, to treat MrsFrog with.

I sincerely hope that next year we just go down the pub, have good wholesome grub and a tab behind the bar, it will be cheaper and 100 times better.

but on thurs last day... with any luck.... we'll manage to persuade the director to let his 1300 employees go home early!!

go in the works club... get trashed on cheap beer and go up town!
in fact im going to get a taxi into work just in anticipation of that plan!! wounder if we work till the end... everyone gets fed up and just goes home! lol

 

Ran, come on man, pay for the dodgems or not, you get to drink and drive without being busted or causing anyone any genuine danger (other than a bit of the old whiplash!)

didnt get anything bonus or pressie wise last year either ... tight fisted twat .. easy way to upset 25 of your staff really .. you know the ones who actually work and make the money for you nice when you can ride round on your brand new harley though
